Completely agree.. A professor once told me..If you’re ever doing something, and it doesn’t feel like work, then you’ve found something you truly love to do.
I think that’s the major difference between my career path and my parents’. I have all the opportunities to take a hobby (such as blogging — or internet anything) and make it into something I get PAID to do. How awesome is that.
Funny, Corinne. I found you on Scobleizer and that is basically what he has done. He gets paid to be thrilled by life. I wish we all did that. That’s how I try to live my life. 🙂 So you see, this post on your site is ironic or auspicious or something. 😉
Heather, I’m trying to get there. I really am. I got recognition from my company today, for creating a blog for my department. It’s not in my main job description, but it is for work. And then I think, I’m only at the beginning of my career — who knows where the years will take me.
And if there is any place that hires bloggers — I’d like to find it. 🙂
… I think the word we’re looking for here is ironic. 😉
